When I checked in I felt very welcome and the staff was very helpful. When I asked if I could change rooms because of a funny smell in the room that I was staying, the staff made the change immediately and without a fuss.

The first room I was in had a funny smell, but I was able to change rooms the next day.

If you're looking to stay downtown, be prepared to take a cab ($12-20) or park in a garage downtown.

The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and have TV, and the beds are full-sized; the location is perfect for events at the Alliant Energy Center in a fantastic neighborhood.

Nice beds, Hardwood floors, tile showers, overall very clean

No thermostat in room, heat was set to 75+ with no way to turn down. Breakfast was in the hallway and always out. Had to call both days for food refill

In my king room, the bathroom and full-size beds were great! the room also had a microwave oven and a refrigerator, which I really liked. 🌟

Small hotel in a great area close to a bus depot which is nice for football game days, Madison and surrounding areas and a freeway exit and easy access to downtown and the university. What a wonderful and pleasant staff. Such great stay, as always.

Unbelievably hot room.

We had originally booked two non-smoking rooms, but upon arrival, we were informed that only one non-smoking room was available. Despite this inconvenience, the staff at Valued Stay Mayflower were able to accommodate us and even provided a smoking room. Although the smoking room had a slight odor, the non-smoking room was clean and comfortable. The updated bathroom with a nice tile floor was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was decent. I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, helpful staff, and convenient location.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just a short walk to Madison and surrounding areas. It's convenient being close to a bus depot, especially for football game days and going to campus. The Alliant Energy Center is only 2 miles away from the hotel, which is great.

This place's location is perfect for the Expo Center and is also conveniently near downtown and other surrounding areas.

The staff was helpful. The location is convenient, close to a bus depot, great for football game days, going to campus, and exploring Madison. The room was modern and updated, equipped with a fridge, coffee/tea making supplies, and a writing table. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was nice.
